Chronos – Distributed Job Scheduler

Designed the high-level architecture for job ingestion, scheduling, execution, and monitoring using Spring Boot and REST APIs. Implemented persistent job state management, retry handling, and idempotent execution to ensure reliable processing across node restarts and partial failures. Architected the system for horizontal scalability with concurrent job execution and built-in failure recovery mechanisms.

Smart Parking System

Designed the high-level system flow for vehicle entry, slot allocation, billing, and exit using Spring Boot. Implemented low-level concurrency controls using transactional boundaries and locking strategies to handle race conditions during vehicle entry/exit. Ensured data consistency and correctness under concurrent access through transactional MySQL design.
